Financing Your School of the Holy Child Education
There is no better investment than education. Still, School of the Holy Child is well aware of the rising costs of independent education. We also realize the importance of fostering a diverse community, and we are proud that our families reflect a broad range of cultural, socio-economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds. We are committed to ensuring that Holy Child remains accessible to all students who meet our academic qualifications; we offer merit scholarships, low-interest loan programs, and payment plans as additional financing options. Financial Aid
Need-based Financial Aid is available to those families and students who qualify. Financial aid application forms are available upon request from the Admission Office. All families that request financial aid are required to submit the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) form to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid at the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey each year. The ETS evaluates the information and then sends School of the Holy Child a report. We then use all of the information available to decide on an appropriate financial aid award. Need-based financial aid is granted at the School's discretion and is not automatically renewable from year to year.
How to Apply for Need-based Financial Aid
- Request a financial aid application packet through the online inquiry sheet or by calling or emailing the Admission Office.
- Go to www.sss.nais.org or call (800) 344-8328 to complete and submit the Parents Financial Statement (PFS), then send us a copy of your completed form as soon as possible, but definitely by December 17.
- Submit a copy of your complete 2009 tax return (including all schedules if applicable) to us by December 17.
- Submit a copy of your 2010 year-end tax statement by February 15.
- Submit a copy of your complete 2010 tax return (including all schedules if applicable) to us as soon as you file, but definitely by April 15. We need this to finalize your aid award.
The Financial Aid Committee at School of the Holy Child will be able to finalize aid awards only after your file is complete. Therefore, documentation should be provided as early as possible.
