A commitment to “Joy in Teaching, Joy in Learning” lies at the heart of the Holy Child experience. School of the Holy Child offers a challenging, college preparatory curriculum in the humanities, sciences, and arts with a strong co- curricular program to develop women of “conscience and action.” Challenged and engaged within the all-girls environment, students feel supported and empowered as they work collaboratively with both teachers and peers. Our rigorous curriculum is designed to educate the whole person while leading each girl to discover her individual talents and tap her potential in academics, the arts, and/or athletics. Service learning plays a prominent part in the curriculum and in extracurricular offerings. As a 1:1 laptop school, technology and computing skills are integral to the Holy Child educational program.
As the girls progress through the Upper School, their intellectual, spiritual and social growth is fostered through an exposure to a diverse curriculum, expansive offerings in both the visual and performing arts, a highly successful athletic program, and a thriving Student Government, Campus Ministry and Global Program. The Holy Child Middle School offers an intimate and challenging learning experience for girls in grades 5-8. MIddle school girls "learn how to learn" as they organize assignments, conduct research and solve problems.
