Annual Giving
The Annual Fund is the only ongoing, annual fundraising activity that touches every member of the Holy Child community. Every Holy Child family is asked to participate in the Annual Fund. Annual Fund contributions go directly into the operating budget to meet the everyday expenses of running the School. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Holy Child education. The Annual Fund "bridges the gap" between tuition payments received and the actual operating expenses of the School. Some of the areas supported by the Annual Fund include: Faculty and Staff salaries; professional development programs; all academic departments and curriculum; technology, including equipment and education; studio and performing arts; all areas of athletics; facilities maintenance; and financial aid. When you give to the Annual Fund, you give to the people, the programs, and the place!
Participation in the Annual Fund is a show of support and demonstrates your commitment to Holy Child. We ask that you, and every family, take responsibility for closing the gap-at whatever giving level you can participate. Every gift is important. A strong Annual Fund in a vital independent school aims for 100% parent participation . Your participation sends a clear message to other donors, including foundations, that our parents are charitable and care about their daughter's school. As individual financial situations vary, so do gifts to the Annual Fund. Only you can decide the amount that is appropriate for you; regardless of the amount, each and every gift is important. The "gap" between income and expenses per student amounts to approximately $2,500. We hope that every member of our school community will participate to the extent possible.
