Visiting Holy Child
A student's shadow day visit is a required part of School of the Holy Child's application for admission and is the absolute best way to get a true sense of what Holy Child is all about. By spending time at Holy Child during a typical school day, you will get a glimpse of our academic and extra curricular offerings and an overall sense of our community. You will shadow one of our students and attend homeroom, Morning Meeting or Advisor period, and sit in on our classes and have lunch while enjoying some down time in our dining hall. Depending on the day, you may even sit in on a Peer Leader meeting or have lunch with our Head of School!
If you are applying to the Middle School, you will be paired with a Middle School Buddy and can expect your visit to last approximately four hours long; if you are applying to the Upper School, you will shadow a Student Ambassador and should expect to spend the majority of the seven hour school day with us. Unless you are applying to grade 5, your visit will include an interview with a member of the Admission staff. Whenever possible, both parent and student interviews are held on the same date. Girls applying to grade 5 are encouraged to attend one of our two Fourth Grade Visiting Days. In order to register for one of these events or to schedule a visiting day, please contact the Admission Office at either 914-967-5622, ext. 227 or click here to email. You must submit Application Parts I and II prior to your day's visit. We look forward meeting and getting to know you!

Visitor Parking
As you enter our main parking lot and pass the wooden "School of the Holy Child" sign on your left hand side, take an immediate left into the larger portion of the lot. Park in the "Visitor" parking spaces (spots #5 through 8), and then walk toward the staircase that leads to our main entrance.
