Parents
At School of the Holy Child, as with all independent schools, parents are active participants in School life, as well as avid and enthusiastic supporters of the School's mission. They are involved in every aspect of the School, from coordinating events to assisting in fundraising efforts. Parents also participate in the spiritual life of the School, through attendance at liturgies and prayer services, as well as through hands-on participation at community service initiatives.
The Parents Association
The Parents Association is the formal parents organization at School of the Holy Child. All parents are considered members of the Parents Association, and are invited to attend meetings and events. However, the PA leadership coordinates volunteers, organizes PA meetings and oversees parent committees. The PA leadership also coordinates with Parent Class Representatives, members of the parent body who are assigned to help the School and the PA communicate with parents throughout the year. As part of their work, Class Representatives especially reach out to new parents to welcome them and answer questions about the School's culture.
