Distance Learning

As disruptions from COVID-19 have continued, Holy Child has reimagined our way of teaching and learning with an intentional focus on what makes education at our school unique: a commitment to innovation, connection, creativity, and spirituality.

Distance learning requires flexibility and balance with the understanding that our students and faculty are working in their homes with siblings and other family members present. Although the environment is different, faculty at Holy Child are still teaching, connecting, and engaging with students. Live and taped lessons, scheduled office hours, and regular advisory meetings allow for continuity in learning.

Holy Child’s vibrant school community also plays an important part in our distance learning plan. Students, faculty, and parents are able to view regular community events such as morning prayer and reports, student spotlights, and alumnae articles through daily emails, e-newsletters, and social media.

Our founder Cornelia Connelly’s vision of

joy in teaching and joy in learning

remains a priority as we continue to implement our distance learning program.
