Field-Based Learning

Middle and Upper School girls have exciting opportunities to learn outside of the traditional classroom. For example, each year our seventh grade students participate in an aquatic life and marine conservation program in Cape Code, MA. They run experiments, complete observations, and learn the benefit of collaborative field study. Our Upper School girls traveled to the Florida Keys to learn scuba-diving and study reef conservation. Environmental science students visited a local apiary to learn more about the importance of bees in a healthy and balanced ecosystem.
