Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program at Holy Child offers students a variety of 2-D and 3-D media to explore, including print-making, sculpture, drawing and painting, and digital design and photography. Students also have access to coursework in art history and appreciation that supports students as they learn how to look at a work of art, identify and compare key characteristics in artworks, and understand the role art has played throughout history. Through hands-on activities, museum visits, discussion, and research, learners will develop an overall appreciation for the art they encounter in their daily lives.

Student artwork lines the hallways throughout the year, but all arts students showcase their body of work at our All School Arts Night in the spring.
