Traditions

Each year, Holy Child students look forward to a number of traditions. Some have been an integral part in the school’s history and others have been added more recently to reflect the spirit of the current students.

Homecoming

Each fall, we open the school year with a school-wide celebration, which includes great food, games, and athletics competitions!

Middle School Fun Run

Traditionally held the day before Homecoming, the Middle School Fun Run kicks off Homecoming Weekend.

Mother Daughter Liturgy

Our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and friends are invited to an annual liturgy and reception.

Ring Day

Ring Day is an annual celebration of our junior class, which culminates in each member of the class receiving a Holy Child school ring!

Moving Up

Each spring we celebrate our 8th grade girls with a traditional Moving Up Ceremony, which marks their transition to the Upper School
