Holy Child welcomes gifts of stocks or securities which can provide significant tax advantages to donors. Please consult with your financial advisor about the current advantages that may apply to you.
A pledge demonstrates your intention to make a gift to Holy Child and it can be fulfilled in multiple installments or in a single contribution. This allows a donor to give more generously over a period of time.
Many donors are able to give more by incorporating a gift into their monthly budget. Holy Child offers donors the option to make a recurring gift through our secure online giving form.
You may be able to double or triple your support of Holy Child through your (or your spouse’s) employer’s matching gift program. Please contact your company’s Human Resources Department to see if you are eligible for a matching gift and to learn more about their program.

Each year in December, School of the Holy Child, Rye hosts a Christmas Boutique & Luncheon to benefit the Maureen Alison McGrath ’78 Memorial Library. Maureen Alison McGrath was an alumna of Holy Child who died tragically too young. Her legacy lives on through the programs and services offered at our school’s library.
Originally created to support Holy Child’s programming and speaker series, the Christmas Boutique & Luncheon is now one of Holy Child’s signature events. Last year's record-breaking event drew over 300 guests to the Apawamis Club in Rye, N.Y. Each year, the library luncheon features a female guest speaker who is a leader in her profession or community. This year's event will feature author, columnist and Rye resident, Annabel Monaghan. School of the Holy Child Field House
One of the most celebrated evenings of the year is our annual Gala & Auction. The event brings together hundreds of guests to celebrate School of Holy Child and the fine young women who are a part of the school’s shining past, stellar present and bright future. At this year's event, the Holy Child community will honor our special friends, Nadine and John Rote. Parents of Ellen Rote '13, John and Nadine have been avid supporters of Holy Child, participating in various capacities for more than thirteen years. Each has volunteered for the Development and Gala committees and have consistently contributed to the event's success as donors, underwriters and committee members. Additionally, John graciously emceed the gala for several years. Nadine is a longstanding volunteer of our school. She was a member of the Parents Association, served as a Class Representative, and chaired the 2010 Gala. As Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees, Nadine has worked tirelessly for our school. She chaired the Marketing & Enrollment committee for five years, and has been instrumental to the success of Holy Child's Capital Campaign and campus expansion.
We hope you will join us to honor and celebrate the Rotes for their unwavering commitment and support of School of the Holy Child! More details about this year's exciting Gala & Auction are forthcoming.
THE LAURENTIA SOCIETY
The Laurentia Society is named in honor of Mother Mary Laurentia Dalton, SHCJ, '20, the first American member of the Society of Holy Child Jesus to be sent to West Africa in 1930, as well as the first American Superior General after Mother Cornelia Connelly. We thank members of the Laurentia Society who have included School of the Holy Child in their wills and/or estate plans.
