Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships at Holy Child are designed to attract students entering Grade 9 who demonstrate strong character, outstanding academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, leadership qualities, and a commitment to contributing to the School community. Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who have distinguished themselves as outstanding scholars and citizens. Holy Child offers two Merit Scholarship options outlined below:

  • Gryphon Scholarship: Holy Child offers academic scholarships to students who achieve high scores on their entrance exam (TACHS, ISEE, or SSAT) as well as achieve high grades consistently in school. Award amounts up to $5,000 per year for 4 years of high school. All qualified candidates are automatically considered.

  • Connelly Scholarship: Holy Child offers academic scholarships to students who achieve high scores on their entrance exam (TACHS, ISEE, or SSAT) as well as achieve high grades consistently in school. Award amounts up to $20,000 for 4 years of high school. Interested candidates must sit for a written exam at Holy Child on Saturday, December 2 at 9:00 a.m. Click here to register.
